The Huey Gum building inspired us to add a cafe to it as it was a restaurant in the 1920's owned by a Chinese immigrant
located in
Whiskey Gap. We decided to restore the kitchen and pool hall section back to it's original intent. Then we thought, since
it will have a kitchen section, that we would adapt it for today's technology also and have tea/coffee and snacks available.
Mixed in with the seating section there will be displays of different antiques and antiquities that we think would be of interest
to the public. Upstairs there is also rooms that used to be rented out to travellers on horseback. We will have
them in the 1920-1930's theme for people to stay in as a Bed & Breakfast and for hosting Miniature Workshop Retreats.
